Journal of Flow and Energy is an online international journal, which publishes original research articles three times in a year. This journal will cover a wide range of experimental and computational articles in the fields of flow measurement, control and visualization in engineering and science, from fundamentals to applications. The fields include topics related to acoustics, aeronautics, biomedical and life sciences, combustion, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, hydraulics, micro and nano fluids, multiphase flow, ocean and wind engineering, optical measurement, turbo machinery, turbulence, fluid power, hydro turbine, nuclear engineering, wind energy and the engineering applications.
Each article should not have been published before nor simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. Papers can be published either English or Japanese using their Templates.
Four types of articles will be considered for publication in the Journal. Note that the page limit for Japanese articles are half of the English article limit:
Original Paper: Original articles are encouraged to submit. Articles with high emphasis on the engineering application are welcome. The submitted articles should be less than approximately 20 pages long in the English template format.
Review paper: Review articles are encouraged to submit. The submitted article should be less than approximately 20 pages long in the English template format.
Technical Paper: Original articles with high emphasis on the engineering application are encouraged to submit. The submitted article should be less than approximately 15 pages long in the template format.
Short Communication: Original short communication in the field of target research field or the case study article in the engineering application is encouraged to submit. The submitted article should be less than approximately 8 pages long in the English template format.
Letter: Letter is a technical issue related to the scope of the journal, and of interest to the journal’s broad readership. The submitted letter should be less than approximately 4 pages long in the English template format. The abstract and keywords may not be included.
The Journal is edited by editorial board and the articles are copyrighted by the authors and Flow Energy Association.
